Making room for the caregiver, too
Gentle ways to notice strain and make practical space for rest.
In-home support · Ontario
Home & Heart provides practical in-home support when life gets heavy—from cleaning and home-cooked meals to companionship and recovery support.

Come as you are. Seriously.
Home & Heart exists for the moments when you need practical support—and don’t have someone to fall back on.
← this counts as careOur story
It came from knowing how hard life becomes when you need practical help and there’s no reliable support system to lean on.
Sometimes you don’t need medical care. You need someone to make dinner.
Sometimes you don’t need therapy. You need somebody to sit beside you for an hour.
Sometimes you don’t need someone to fix your life. You just need help getting your home back together.

A familiar face. A little more ease.
Recurring weekly support customized to the household.
You don’t have to hide the laundry.
You don’t have to apologize for the dishes.
You don’t have to explain why things got overwhelming.

No shame. No judgment. No performance.
Who we support

Support for older adults
Getting older shouldn’t mean giving up the everyday things that feel like you. Whether you live independently, are returning home after a hospital stay, or would welcome a little more company, we offer practical help shaped around your preferences—not assumptions about your age.
Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, grocery assistance, and non-medical errands to make everyday routines more manageable.
Conversation over tea, reading, games, and shared activities chosen with you. There’s no one way to enjoy a visit.
Your language, food preferences, household routines, and accessibility or sensory needs matter. With your permission, we can include family or a trusted person in the conversation.
Our older-adult support is non-medical. It does not include clinical geriatric care, nursing, personal care, or specialized supervision, and does not replace a healthcare professional. We’ll discuss suitability and any accommodations before confirming a visit.

— the Home & Heart way

sometimes support has four paws
A little extra love. On us.
At Home & Heart, we believe companionship comes in many forms. Sometimes it’s a conversation over tea. Sometimes it’s someone helping you through a difficult afternoon. And sometimes, it’s a little furry friend who makes you smile simply by being there.
Book online or reach out. You don’t need to know which service fits.
A quick conversation to figure out what would actually help.
A trusted team member arrives with respect, warmth and a plan.
Community vision
Our long-term goal is to make practical home support more accessible through community partnerships, referrals, subsidies, charitable funding and public programs.
